is the lg ally smartphone for Verizon a good phone to upgrade to?

im upgrading in a month and i wanna know if this phone is worth upgrading to? im upgrading from a blackberry storm (first one) and my god did that phone suck. so im hoping that the next one i get wont be a flop. anyone own one and love/hate it? answer away :)
