Is the official PS3 bluetooth headset worth it?

Hey, I was wondering if the official ps3 sony bluetooth headset was worth the 55-60 dollars.
Does it have good sound quality?
Can I hear other players better in MW2?
Can I hear enemy footsteps with it in MW2
(MW2=Modern Warfare 2 if you didnt know)
Please answer, thanks!
 
It is not any better than any other similar quality Bluetooth of equal or similar value.
 
-The sound quality is excellent. Unfortunately, good quality depends on the speaker, not the listener. This means people will be able to hear u very well, so you at least you know people will listen to you.

-Once again hearing other players depends on their mic. But having this headset will only help.

-You won't be able to hear enemy footsteps around you. You would need a surround sound headset, which usually costs a lot more. That, or have actual surround sound speakers. I have them, so I'm satisfied with the official headset

But if you really want to improve your game in MW2, then I suggest searching for surround sound headsets. I believe the commonly used ones are called "Turtle Beach" or something like that
 
No I have an At&T bluetooth headset and MW2 is very clear. The PS3 official headset really isn't worth it. The sound quality isn't much better if its not better at all than normal cell phone bluetooth headsets. The only extra feature it has is that the battery icon shows up on your tv when the battery is low. Which is not necessary if you remember to charge it daily.
