Is the Samurai Champloo DVD box set worth buying?

I am a big fan a Samurai Champloo and a friend of mine is just getting into anime. I have been showing him bleach because I own those DVDs, but now I would like to show him something else. So this gives me another reason to want to buy Samurai Champloo. It's about 6 dollars, but that's a good amount of money for a 16 year old.

yes, this anime worth your money. make sure you get the funimation releases, not the original box set. and if you don't have enough money then try watching it online.
