Is the Toshiba Sattelite good for photo editing ?

L775-S7114 is the model number.
I don't plan on buying photoshop. I plan on using Serif Photo Projects and Nikon's viewNX2 to do my photography. A guy today at bestbuy suggested a different computer which was an HP pavilion laptop which is an older model and cannot be found in most best buys. My parents say I should wait the 2 weeks til it can be shipped all the way from California. My first choice was the Toshiba Sattelite and my dad isnt sure it would be good enough. I want a laptop now and have been waiting for a while.

Question: is the Toshiba Satellite good for photo editing and a good laptop overall?
 
I like the Satellite for editing, but I am personally into Trick Photography after reading this Ebook! I'll list it below. I have used that laptop, along the tips I read in the ebook to create some really clean looking shots. I say go ahead, get the Satellite you will enjoy it!
