Is ther someone of every religion that is pushy about their belifes?

As alot of people have encounterd some people can be forceful when it comes to their religious belifes.I
used to think Athiest were libirals but aparently not,ther are some that will try to convience people into their ways and will not let it go.Everyone knows Christians get fussy.Have you ever heard of a Wiccan or Pagen doing something like that?They go by live and let live so I guse not but im sure someone has.
Im agnostic,Im not going to say ther is or isnt.I find out when I die or mabey ill be dead so I wont know.Ill just be a good person and hope God dosnt sentance me to an eternity of agony for not praying.Im 14 I should have a long way to go.But I find it intresting and kinda fun to have friends of diffrent religious backrounds.I have Christan friends,Budist,Jewish,Mormon,Satanic(Atheist not Theist),Muslem.I like for them to tell me stories from ther books and sometimes just to hear what they belive.
I never have known why people of diffrent religions just cant get along.In text books thers alot of stuff about the mass murders from people refusing to belive the ways of others.If someone is going to "hell" let them.The way I see it is more room for you XD
I was just wondering if even the peaceful religions can cause chaos by trying to convert people.
Haha ya i know my spelling sucks.The spell check wouldnt pop up for some reason.
 
I've never heard of a pushy Agnostic... does that count. it isn't a religion, but it is a "belief" (the belief in not knowing what to believe?)
 
When someone is convinced that they are right in what they think and believe, sometimes it's hard to keep from pushing that viewpoint on others. This applies to religion, politics, literature, anything you can have a strong opinion on, really.
 
Short answer: yes. There are arrogants of every faith which is not a reflection of their respective religious teachings as i think no religion teaches someone to be arrogant

I think most people of every religious belief (and non-belief) can be pushy if the situation warrants it.
By the way, Wiccans and Pagans have also been known to kill for their beliefs - human sacrifice anybody? Not saying they still do it, but no one is innocent when it comes to murder in the name of gawd. (watch the movie "The Wicker Man" - they're Pagan)

To really answer your question though, I honestly don't think there is a real "peaceful" religion. All religions try, but none succeed... and yes, this includes buddhists.
