Is there a DVR device that doesn't require a fee that will work with Dish Network?

I have Dish Network and I want a DVR but I'm too cheap to pay the monthly fee for it. Is there a device out there that works like a VCR? You know just plug it in between your receiver and TV to record shows?

dazzle you can buy at best buy it records to computer i use to record my xbox but it also records tv! works great watch my call of duty videos if you want to see the vids this is getting recorded on a 30 year old tv too so you know search nazizombiemodz on youtube
