something like the AA.....where people facing similar problems can meet, learn from and support each other.

I'd like to meet people like myself and learn how they are coping

By going on to these forums, you will only make things worse. People on forums tend to focus on the worst aspects of everything to gain sympathy. This can only be harmful to you as it diminishes hope and all that. There are very few instances where you will actually find out how they cope. I've read many things and even I've felt quite hopeless after reading some things.
