...Gogh style portrait? I will be in San Antonio, TX a little bit after I turn 18 for a while and I'm looking forward to starting to get my tattoos.
I've been planning and researching the pros and cons of this form of body modification for more than 3 years now. I know what I'm getting in to. *(So please no comments about how I could be putting my money to better use, or that I'm gonna get a disease, or anything like that.)* I had been looking at shops in my area to do the tattoos for me. However, I just recently found out that I will be moving to SA around that time so now I have to start all over in my shop search.
The first of my tattoos that I plan to get is a portrait of my mother in the style of the artist Vincent Van Gogh (she absolutely loves him and is a bit of an expert on his works) with a purple ribbon wrapped around her shoulders. The purple ribbon is for the Lupus awareness ribbon. (Lupus being a chronic disease my mother suffers from.)
Can anyone recommend an artist in that area who can skillfully execute a design like that? I'd prefer a personable artist who I can have a good experience with, especially since this will be my first tattoo. I'd also like a clean comfortable shop.
