I hate when im trying to play in my yard, and the grass is too long or patchy. I played at a high school field the other day and there was this grass that you dont have to mow, and it doesnt grow but it wasnt turf. Thanks.
There is no real grass that doesn't grow. There are many fields these days made of synthetic material which look and play more like real grass but are artificial. They are light years ahead of the old Astroturf fields which were basically just green carpet. 'FieldTurf' is one of these brands. Once it is laid down, piece of ground up rubber and sand are swept through it for a more natural feel. There are ads on TV sometimes trying to sell this to homeowners as well.
