Is there a microphone on a packard bell dot s2 laptop?

Also can you record using the webcam, as i want to make a video using my netbook.
i can see the holes at the top of the laptop by the webcam, but they wont record, also i have found the webcam program from the start menu, yet there is no record option, any help to anyone?
