Hi my sister just had a baby and in the next room are some peoeple who it appears are not feeding their baby for the first few days (until the mothers milk comes through!). Instead, they are making crooning/humming noises at it (my sister says it sounds a bit like a washing machine!). apparantly its their religious practice?
