I like to discuss (not argue) thoughts and opinions that are largely considered taboo, controversial, or hard to agree on. I enjoy this because you learn a lot by talking to people with different opinions than your own.

Are there any sites where I can do this conveniently? Free membership is a must.
 
there are many out there. I belong to a social website that is kinda like face book but for people of a different brand. It is called fubar http://www.fubar.com/destroyedbylove that is my profile but you can join by clicking on the link.
