Is there a small suv that can safely contain two rear facing car seats?

We have a 2002 Honda CRV with a infant carrier in the center back seat. The driver seat cannot go back far enough to drive safely with the rear facing convertable car seat for our 13 month old behind it, and it won't fit on the passenger side. We really don't want to get a minivan !

Hello,
I just bought a Mitisubishi Montero Limited and I love it. I had a suburban, so down sizing was scary for me, but this SUV has enough room for me and both my kids (ages 2 & 10 months). I also have the Britax Boulevard carseats and they are pretty huge and they fit nicely. This particular model SUV is pretty pricey though (37,000) and they have the Endeavor which is more reasonably priced that is very similar. I think they are around $26,000. HTHU.

This blog refers to the Highlander having enough room for two rear facing car seats - now....

Check right here and see if your car seat is compatable with whatever car you might want (or SUV or <shudder> minivan>.)

As you can see here
http://www.carseatdata.org/compatibility_search.php?seatBrand=select&seatName=select&seatType=select&installationMethod=select&carMake=Honda&carModel=CRV&carYear=2002&rowsPerPage=20&getData=Get+Data

Basically, no dual rear facing seats fit in the CRV.

Just to pick a 2002 Highlander
http://www.carseatdata.org/compatibility_search.php?seatBrand=select&seatName=select&seatType=select&installationMethod=select&carMake=Toyota&carModel=Highlander&carYear=2002&rowsPerPage=20&getData=Get+Data

There are 4 listed seats that will work.
