Is there a way to find someone's Facebook profile just by using a picture?

I have a picture I took with someone and I would like to see their Facebook profile but I do not know their last name. Is there a way to use Facebook facial recognition technology to find the profile?
 
That would be incredible. It sounds very sci-fi though, perhaps worth investing in.
*Snaps fingers* I should actually attempt to answer your question now.
If you can't remember their surname, then try the filtering system.
It allows you to find them by school.
Basically, go the search bar on Facebook, and type in their first name, followed by their school. If they're not currently attending school, then your alternative is to search for that if it is listed anyway, or look at their possible workplaces.
You could also go to your friend's lists and search by the first name, if they are a mutual friend, then you should see them listed and be able to add them from there.
