Is there a way to protect some apps on your iphone from kids?

I am just wondering if there was a way to protect your applications on your phone when you install apps on it for your kids to play.

I am wondering if there was an app to download or a way to protect your phone in addition to the things that you can do in your settings...when you give your phone to your child to play the games that you put on your phone for them........like a separate app that lets you combine all the apps in to one folder then lets you password protect that folder so your kids cannot access it when they play their games.

Can anyone help please?

If you jailbreak your iPhone, you can install an app from cydia (the official jailbreak store with free and paid apps) that allows you to password protect certain apps.
