the Marketplace? The reason I ask is because I have a younger brother who keeps purchasing things from the Xbox Live Marketplace with no ones permission. Is there any way to make it so you have to enter a pass code to purchase things or disable it completely? He's wasted at least 20$ on these downloads and I know there is no possibility of a refund, but I would like to prevent this from happening in the future. The two of us share an account that has adult permissions and because we both play it very rarely, we do not want to pay for him to have his own separate account just so he doesn't have full access to the Marketplace. Detailed answers will be greatly appreciated, as will links to sites that can explain in detail.

Is your account setup to where he can use a debit or credit card to activate a payment? If so, you should be able to take that card number off of the XBL account. I think if you have used it once, the credit/debit card number remains on the option for payment list when you try to download anything else. I'd say take that off unless he knows the card number by heart or something

You can take your credit card off of the account an buy the pre-paid cards whenever you need Xbox Live membership or Microsoft Points. That would be the only way to prevent purchases from your account.
