I'm trying to connect my canon HV10 to my HD screen, but it only has a mini component out, no hdmi out from camera. It is full HD, and so is the tv...thing is, to connect the component cables, i need 5 of them (3 for image and 2 for sound), and the image only comes up 720p on my screen...and if i could connect with hdmi it would be 1080, and only one cable...it just looks nicer i guess
