Is this a good car audio setup? For a highschooler?

Headunit: Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD
Mids: (2) Kicker 11DS60 6" Speakers
Mid Amp: None. (Should I buy one?)
Subs: (2) Alpine Type R 12" 2 ohm.
Sub Amp: Kenwood 9104d 18kw.
Sub Box: Built to Specs, Ported at 35hz.
Wire: 4AWG + Big 3 4AWG (Should I use 1/0 AWG?)
Battery: Stock ( Should I add a kinetic powercell 1800?)
Alternator: Stock.

it a nice / pretty decent setup for anyone. for these mids you can get a separate amp to power. the head unit will power them fine, but there they will operate at less than half of their potential. but you can always get an amp for them in the future if you don't do it now. the head unit is cool for any one to have, pioneer makes some of the best head units out there. the subs and sub amp are good stuff too.
if you wanna add an amp for the mids later go 2 gauge. for the big 3 i recommend 0 gauge so if you wanna upgrade your system in the future you don't need to do a big 3 again.
since you will be running 2 subs and extra battery is welcome especially if you will be listening to music with the engine turned off for long periods of time

That's a great set up! You should be fine without a mid amp.
I suggest 0 or 2 gauge in place of the 4 gauge and a kinetik power cell will definatly help. Either the 1800 in place of your stock battery, or keep the stock battery and put a smaller 2nd batter just for your system, its really easy to do, prevents strain on the rest of the electrical system, and keeps a higher voltage constantly going to your amps. So you get Max power!.

Once all that is done you will have a very very nice system. Take of from another highschooler that knows his audio.

I have
a pioneer deh6300 headubit
Kicker components in my front doors.
Kicker 5x7's in the back
2 kicker 6x9's in separate boxes
2 kicker l5 15's on a hifonics Brutus 1700 amp, with 0 gauge wire.

Soon to do the big 3 and get a kinetik powercell.
