Well, it books for over $5,000 so its a great deal if there isn't anything wrong with it. Check the engine and listen for valve or wrist pin knock and oil leaks. if it is automatic, make sure the transmission doesn't slip. If it is a manual, check the clutch for slippage or roughness when it is engaged. If all is well then you have a superb car for basically next to nothing.
