Is that a metaphor? If not, what is it?
It has to be something, a poetic device. Which poetic device is it?
 
i don't think it's a metaphor. it's just a comment about realities blooming, i guess.
 
Yes... Reality can't ACTUALLY bloom... Flowers and other plants do that... The author is making a reference to something completely different with the intention of giving you a visual for something that has no visual. Reality.
