For the last few weeks i've been on a university field trip, all of the people were nice, but this one girl in particular was something else. She's been an acquaintance for a year and a half, but different social circles meant we rarely met outside of lectures. The work on the trip was hard and most people went to bed at 12 midnight, but myself and this beautiful girl usually stayed up longer together, drinking Pinot Noir and watching crap TV up 'til 4AM as it was in the middle of nowhere.
Then the massages started - mutual massages of the back, shoulders, neck and head. I'm more of a giver than a taker (oo er), and so i enjoyed massaging this little thing of perfection. This turned out to be fortunate as she complimented my technique, clearly enjoyed it and told me i'll be doing it until we had to leave the following morning. It always used to carry on until she fell asleep through wine and relaxation, usually on top of me.
Also, throughout the trip i used to catch her staring at my t-shirt/chest - and when we were doing our essays together our gazes would hold for 4-5 seconds after talking. I frequently made her laugh with my nonsensical humour, and on the 5-hour coach ride home she curled up and used my shoulder as a pillow for 90% of the ride home.
So do you think theres any real connection there? Shes gone to France for a month but she'll be back on my course next term, but i've made a fool of myself in these situations before and obviously cannot trust my own judgement.
