Is this guy interested in me? How long should I wait for him to contact me?

We met 2 weeks ago and have met up twice since. I told him I'd like to start as friends and see how it goes. Anyhow I'm very attracted to him. The last time we were out a week ago, we texted after & last Tuesday I messaged 'Surprise me with the place you're going to bring me, just tell me when you're going to pick me up'. Didn't hear a thing until Saturday when he contacted me on chat. Here's what he said:

Him: Hi! I got your message and didnt answer you, because only yesterday I found out that I have duty at the hospital today and tomorrow. This week was really busy. But for sure, when I have time I will think of something for us to do. Really, this is a crazy busy period before the end of the year and as a friend I hope you understand.

Me: Of course I understand. You're up to your eyes. Maybe we'll see each other in 2011!

Him: haha, don't exagerate, December is just beginning!

Me: I'm joking!

Him: haha, tonight I'll call you from here (work).

Me: sure call me! Bye
Hil: ok bye!

Anyhow he didn't call & hasn't yet and that's three days ago. I didn't call him either. I just noticed today that he has disabled his account on the dating site we met on (not blocked me...disabled as not in use). I'm still in his msn friends list.

Patience is a virtue... Just hang in there and wait to see what happens. I personally would not not wait around for him for too long if he isn't getting back in touch with you. I think you should keep your options open and you never know, someone better might come along.

he probably is busy. but he don't want a relationship right now because he is too busy with some stuff. I think he does like you. i would say wait for him a little more like a week or so but then if he hasn't contacted you just say goodbye to him.

Well, first thing, you have to be able to see inside other people'liveses. Meaning, predict whethey'llll not be available. This doesn't mean he just doesn't care about you, I'm sure by ur messages that he is itching to join u! And did u mention he works in a hospital? That means anything could have happened! Maybe some important operation that required his attendance... something like that. Just wait, he'll eventually call you back.
