I screwed up my windows 7 and i want to reinstall it but i dont have a reinstallation CD since it came preinstalled. Would it be legal to download this torrent, burn to an .ISO, then run it on my computer, then use MY PRODUCT KEY THAT CAME WITH MY LAPTOP.

you can d.l 1 copy under the fair use act if you do not sell trade or give it away but keep it for your own use, and then see if it will work with your product key, it may not OR work for a few months and tell you it is not genuine and refuse all upgrades

to be honest i dont think it would be legal but just saying if it was me i would do it anyways millions of people do each day and almost no one goes to jail plus i belive you could argue it in court if something did happen
