is this touching people on the collar bone now an established way of greeting...

...in London? Following my relentless bitching on here about people having no manners and taking liberities by putting their hands on me in greeting, even when they are total strangers (apart from this mindless touching when they are talking to you or trying to get your attention) I notice that placing the hand on someone else on their chest on or below the collarbone seems to be how people routinely greet one another in London. did they get this off Star Trek or something.
Another greeting is the shoulder to shoulder touching between men - is this another MTV derived habit from rap culture - it's so deplorable that people won't keep their hands to themselves. If I want you to touch me, I will leave you in no doubt about it.
