Is this workout routine going to show results or am I wasting my time?

I go to the gym 4 times a week for an hour. I do 30 minutes of the elliptical then for the next 30min I work on the machines that work out the legs, abs and I do weights. This is my first week starting and I am really sore. Also, in the morning I eat oatmeal and before I go to the gym I have a power bar. Then after the gym I have yogurt with flax seeds and fruits if I am still hungry. And I try to eat something small like every 2 hours or so. Then at nighttime around 8ish I take a protein shake that makes me full so i dont eat at nighttime. Is there anything that I am doin wrong? Is there something I should add to it? I weigh 143 pounds and I am 5'4. I have never been skinny skinny and I have a butt which I don't want to loose. I just want to get toned all over. What do you recommend?
