They can't prove 100% that there is no God so what are they going on?
Faith. Faith that they are right about this when their arguments can not be 100% proven correct.

They have holy men or prophets they are called professors and scientists. Well aren't they, they say they find things from billions of years ago and they believe them with faith. Isn't Darwin one of their "prophets"?

They have a creation "story"- we come from apes, the earth was created so and so billion years ago, the earth's land was once one country, etc. Which is actually stranger than other peoples teachings. Which cannot be 100% proven, so they have faith that these things are true.

They met in buildings to discuss their beliefs. They support others (brothern) who have the same beliefs.
Some of these buildings being labeled "for learning" and "studying". Like when one studies their sacred writings.

So Atheists you do have a religion and a god- Darwin or Apes. Which is it?

"They can't prove 100% that there is no God... "

Nor am I required to. That I don't believe in gods doesn't mean that I need to prove anything 100%, or to come up with any alternative explanations. The burden of proof is on theists, and since they haven't exactly done all that well, non-belief is appropriate.

Actually we are going on lack of evidence for a god.

Is not believing in Thor a religion? Is not believing in ghosts a superstition? No and no. Nor is not believing in YOUR god a religion. As for meeting "in buildings" (!) "to discuss their beliefs", if that makes a religion then the PTA is a religion, Burger King is a religion, city hall is a religion, etc.

By the way, atheists do not worship Darwin. Or apes.

No. Atheism is not a religion. It is a LACK of belief, you utter twit.

No, it is not a religion. By its very definition, it is not a religion. There are atheist (aka godless) religions, but they are not called "atheism". They have their own names - like Buddhism. There are religious atheists - but not all atheists are religious. Many are not.

Faith does not equal religion. At all.

We do not have holy men or prophets. Professors and scientists are nothing like holy men or prophets. Do you know what EVIDENCE is? I suggest you find a dictionary and look it up. You have no idea what you're talking about, do you?

This is laughable. This is a joke, right?

Yep. Spreading the same misinformation about evolution, too.

Your not seriously equating schools to churches are you? LOL.

No, it isn't. Atheism is disbelief in god(s). What some atheists do with their free time is not indicative of what atheism is as a whole.

religion |ri'lij?n|
noun
the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a personal God or gods

Atheism very explicitly doesn't meet that criteria.

People have such stupid questions.

Atheism - not believing in god or a greater being.

How hard is it for you idiots to comprehend that?

You're such an idiot.

Look:

I am an atheist.

I don't believe in a 'god' or any 'gods'.

End of story.

See how simple that is?

Almost as simple as you.

No, it's not a religion. You sound like a backwoods idiot when you compare professors and scientists to prophets. Evolution isn't a "story" it is science. Science isn't faith - science can be falsified and faith can't. There are many people of religions that attend college and even become scientists.

Now they are even building churches. Its hilarious. It is most assuredly a religion. God Bless

Science not one of your strong points I see unfortunately neither is understanding of the meaning of words but I'm sure there must be something you are knowledgeable on.

If you're really ignorant, you can make anything into a religion.

However, atheism is not a religion and your feeble attempt at trying to draw parallels fails spectacularly.

no beleiving we all came from apes is its darwism but athiest is just a word to define that they are non beleivers which christian people made this name up for the group of non beleivers in the first place i dont think they would even remtly want to use this name if they had any religion
