not exactly what lincoln was referring to..but this IS a perfect example of the problem!..Lincoln was referring to the South seceding from the Union and YOU'RE ranting about deficit reduction!..no WONDER we're getting nothing done!..you conflate things like pouring water over a suspected terrorist who was captured on the battlefield SHOOTING at coalition troops with pulling fingernails out and such!
