Isn't it funny how much better your day can be just from being around your horses?

I would have asked this question elsewhere, but its along the lines of horses because these are girls from my barn..

I am nice to everyone at my barn. Sometimes I can be a little blunt as far as when I see people getting upset with their horses and turning to hitting etc. But, I am friends with everyone and am nice to everyone. I don't like being on bad terms with others.

It was my friends birthday today, and I get to the barn today thinking she would be out there since I hadn't heard about any other plans happening. I have known this girl for 3 years, and she was one of my best friends. We spent like all last weekend with eachother. Anyway, I walk into a barn and another girl we all hang out with asks me "Did you get invited to go to dinner?" I said "Well no, what are you talking about?" She said "Oh, well ***** invited all the girls to dinner tonight."

She invited our little circle of friends, so 4 girls. Only two could make it, but i wasn't included. I guess part of me wasn't surprised she didnt invite me because she talks so much crap about everyone else I had to know she did it to me too. It was more hurtful that a girl I was really close with went, and didn't bother to talk to me. She also ignored my text when i said "So did you know I wasnt being included?"

But, at the end of the night I decided I was over the drama, and I was done being friends with people who obviously weren't my friends. They all kept this dinner a secret from me hoping I wouldn't find out. I told one of the girls I wouldn't be attending her party saturday either. I just made plans with my other friends. Am I doing the right thing to just say "Im over it, done being friends with two faced people?"

My horse cheered my up, its like she knew I was upset because she left her grain to put her head over the stall breathe into my ear. I swear they know sometimes!
