Issues with internal bluetooth module???

I have a Dell Latitude D520 laptop. I took a bluetooth module from an HP nc600 laptop and connected it to my laptop. The issue I am having is that my laptop is not recognizing the module at least in the bios and in device manager. However the bluetooth led is lite up. Any suggestions?
