issues with verizon router?

i used to have comcast and we had our own wireless router and at that time i only had a ds and i connected my ds to my wireless internet (ps my room is right next to the router) when they came to install my router they hooked up all the computers but i have disconnected n re connected and i got my computer to work. my issues is that I cant hook my itouch or my wii up to my wireless internet. i have a bunch of free downloads for my wii games that i cant get to and my itouch says its connected but all the apps say im not. i have never tried to hook my itouch up anywhere else only because i never sit at a place like starbucks or burger king n use wifi. if you have any clue what i can do to solve this problem i will give you best n leave updates after i have tried what you have said.
