click my computer, then add remove programs. It will say what programs you use often and rarely. Choose which programs you hardly use or do not need and click remove. But be careful not to remove programs that you are not sure of as they may be important.

Look in the Add/Remove Programs screen in Crontrol Panel.

Go to your control panel through the start menu and then go to uninstall or Change a program / Programs and Features. Browse the list of programs and uninstall the ones that you know you do not use or don't want.
