itouch 2nd failed update?

my itouch 2nd gen wont update to the new 4.2 firmware. Its giving me and error (-1) message. What seems to be the problem?

Oh and ive tried doing what the apple support website says on here

And it is the dumbest support help ever. Apple has the worst customer support. Shitty apple fcks.
 
Its time for you to upgrade your itouch. 4.2 I believe, doesn't support the 2nd generation.
