So I have an iPod 2G that I am trying to get updated to the iOS4 firmware but after iTunes has ended up failing (I have gotten the 1600, 1603, and 1604 error code) it exits out of the restore window, and then I have to restart the whole process again.
Originally I was trying to jailbreak the iPod by using a custom firmware, but that does not seem to be happening until I can at least get it back to a normal working condition.
Any tips on jailbreaking 2G ipod touch, or just even getting it to restore properly would be greatly appreciated!
