Ive just programed my laptop computer now the wireless internet don't work?

K Ive just installed a fresh copy of vista ultimate to my laptop, it used to be vista basic but i didnt like it sooooo i upgraded.



Everything works fine i ran the windows update to download most of the drivers but my "wireless connection dosen't show up?! I have to connect the ethernet cable in order to go into the web.


its a acer computer.

Vista is crapware - you have to install the driver for your wireless by manual means.

You should have tried Ubuntu if you didn't like Vista - with my laptop, everything works perfectly after the 20 minute install, and then another 20 minutes later connected to internet it's downloaded and installed all of the 'non-free' codecs I need to play wma files and use nvidia graphics card.

Easy.
