iWeb- do/can i put my blog on the internet? how?

i made this awesome blog on iWeb and i don't know if it was suppost to be on the internet or something. how do i put it on the internet? what site? am i suppost to make my own site and put it on there?

i need help!!!
 
If I recall correctly, the freeware version of iWeb is set to automatically publish to your .Mac account (which I guess they have renamed MobileMe). Don't have a .Mac account? Then you need to buy one or pay for the full version of iWeb (which is part of iLife) in order to get other options to post your pages.

In the full version you can FTP directly to your own webhosting account once you configure the settings in the program. I think there are also options allowing you to post to several of the popular blog sites, such as Blogger.

I gave up on iWeb after I discovered its dependence on .Mac. There are other ways to get your content online that don't cost as much.
 
you don't need to put it on the internet unless you want others to read it. :)

the suggested apple .me hosting is a good suggestion, but it will cost a little bit of money.

if you want to blog for free on the internet, try blogger.com or wordpress.com (livejournal.com or any of those.)
 
You can if you have a .me account with Apple. There's a function in iWeb that lets you upload to your .me account.
