I just got a Japanese Pokemon on the GTS on my game Pokemon platinum but its name is in Japanese I think but its moves are in English. Is this a fake or a real Pokemon? Please help me!
When a Pokemon is traded to you from a different region game it will keep the other region's name in that language and moves will be put into your language as well a few other things about it. If the Pokemon can evolve and you evolve it, it will then have it's name changed to your games language. For instance, if I get traded a Japanese Pikachu and evolve it into Raichu in an English game, it's name will change to Raichu instead of changing to Raichu in Japanese.

I obtained a darkrai from a person from japan on Gts
Check the "OT" if the name is Japanese also.
I'm sure the game converts the moves In english cause they know that people would receive pokemon from different countries and languages.
