I just posted a question stating I was under the impression Judaism was the true religion. I was blasted - "where did I get that idea" & that was from Jews.
Jews - do you believe Judaism is the true religion or not? Be honest now.
According to Jewish belief, Judaism is only the right religion for Jews, not anybody else. Righteous non-Jews will get to Olam HaBa just like everyone else.
I do believe that Judaism is the most logical religion in the world, because it is based on a revelation to an entire people that has been passed from generation to generation for millennia, not a revelation given to one person in a certain place or time. I also believe that there is a special role for Jews as a people, entailing responsibilities of a sort that are not operative for those outside the religion. That said, I also believe that the righteous of all peoples, whether Jewish or non-Jewish, have, as it were, their portion(s) in the world to come (the hereafter).
We Jews do not believe that there is only one path; all righteous have a place in Olam HaBa - the world to come. So your question is not one that can easily be answered with a yes or no answer.
it's the right religion for Jews and not the right religion for non-Jews.
