Jose Bautista could come off the DL as soon as Wednesday. However, don’t expect the slugger for the Toronto Blue Jays to be ready to go. Yesterday, he swung a bat for the first time since injurying his left wrist. He might need another week until he’s ready to face MLB pitching.
Bautista originally got hurt in a game against the New York Yankees. Following a swing, he instantly grabbed his wrist and was forced to leave the game.
Baseball’s leading home run hitter the last two seasons is having another good season. Although he’s hitting only .244, he has 27 home run, 65 RBIs and 63 runs.
