I do Judo and BJJ.Im a Judo Brown Belt and BJJ Blue Belt 17 years old and 6'0 175-185 all muscle.I want to do MMA but the only mma gym is 300$ a month and JUDO and BJJ a month is 60$.Alot of kids my age do mma or claim to do mma and their rich bratty punks.Who are also bully's.I don't want to lose if i get in a fight with one of those punks

I don't know why you need to feel it's a style vs. style clash when clearly it's just a personal issue. Wannabe MMAers are just that, wannabes. You know they talk fluff, they have nothing inside, so what are worried about? Your confidence and extensive training speaks for itself and you shouldn't stress over whether or not it can beat this or that. You have something those idiots don't. You know are better prepared, you know you can judo slam the bully onto the pavement like a slab of beef. Why doubt your abilities? A confident man doesn't have to say or even do much and when he does say something it's concise and to the point and it sticks through the other guy like a dagger. The beauty of it all is that he didn't even have to lift a finger. Take the high road, use your mental kung fu and ignore them. You got better things to do.

First... there is no need to get into a fight with them, let them be punks and concentrate on your own thing.

Second: It all depends, could someone with 10 years of Judo beat someone with 10 months of MMA? Absolutely. How does the two people train? A guy who is a competetive BJJ, and Judo player, and does tournaments and is successful can easily handle a guy who just goes to a MMA gym and has never felt anything more than sparring level intensity.

Also, I don't know any MMA gym that is 300 bucks a month. You can train at American Top Team for half of that. You can train at Miletich, Legends MMA, and Xtreme Couture for about a hundred bucks cheaper than that.

I don't know that many MMA gyms that will allow 17 year olds in, there is a lot of risk involved and you rarely find parents willing to enroll their kids into MMA.

Chances are if a guy is a bully and a punk, he doesn't have real skills. He may say he "trains MMA" but guys who are actually training don't have time to bully or punk anyone, nor do they have the ego to have to go around like cock of the walk because they get their @sses beat in the gym every single day.

So chances are if a guy is giving you a hard time, you can easily avoid him. If it comes down to an altercation, if you train harder, and have more experience, and luck is on your side then you can win.

However, all that being said it is always best to just avoid any sort of egotistical clash with a moron, it can never end good.
