Keep installing DivX Web Player on my Mac for Stagevu.com, but it never works?

I have installed (or what seemed like installed) the DivX Web Player on my Macbook like 50 times and deleted it after seeing that it didn't work to stream videos on the website stagevu.com.

I saw another guy had the same question like 4 months ago, but he never got an answers. Does anyone know what the problem is?

I have gone into my files and deleted all the things installed after installing it each time, so that I could start fresh with a new installation of it thinking that it would work...but it never seems to. If you don't have an answer can you find me a link that has an answer to this from someone else's problem? You get 10 points!!! :D

Thanks! I've been trying to figure it out forever...right now i'm having to log into my windows partition to watch videos from the site. slightly annoying...

try using firefox instead of safari, worked for me!

if you have mac os x version 10.6.4 and are using safari it wont work unless you right click on safari in applications click get info and check open safari in 32 bit mode they it should work with divx installed of course
