Languages when traveling, i only know english?

Hi there!
I would love to travel to Europe and Asia in a few years time after i complete university. I am only fluent in english. How difficult would it be to holiday in all these countries with only English? I'm really bad with learning new languages (sadly i have no knack with learning foreign languages), so i hope that english being the international language is sufficient.

Just learn hello,please,thank you etc in each language,ouf of politeness.Otherwise you will be fine,use hand signals,draw on peices of paper to make youself understoood if necessary.Ive had great times with people on my travels despite having no common language at all,its all part of the fun
