Lately I've risked falling into the Christian trap?

I am a nature worshiper at heart. a pantheist. seeing divinity everywhere. but then i get the idea some lonely night that I'd better worship god/Jesus or I'll go to hell for eternity. it's not even that i don't believe they exist. i don't know if they do. i think its possible. it's well 50/50 really. but i can't love a god that thinks the way to force people to love him is to threaten hell. so you who say just believe and you'll be saved or what. i maybe believe, but i don't respect this idea. not only do i disrespect god himself for this, but i disrespect all people who think it's ok to bow down to this deity just for their free ride in heaven. so what do i do?
