I use my computer for just about everything. I use it very often also. Anything from gaming to watching movies to reading, typing papers and researching. Within the past month of so, I swore I saw a VERY faint flicker on web pages that had a lot of white on them. I now notice it a lot more, even if the background isn't white. It's VERY faint and sort of resembles how a fluorescent light faintly flickers. I know about LCD refresh rates and such, but nothing has changed. Is my video card dying? My monitor dying? I'm not sure what the problem is. It's hardly noticeable unless I'm looking for it, but it still worries me.
I want to emphasize a bit more on the degree of the flickering. It appears to be pulsating...and not always consistent. Unless it's all in my head, sometimes It appears to stop, and then other times it appears to happen. I've asked other people if they could also see it, and they've said yes, but they REALLY had to sit there and look for it. It's very VERY minor, but it still has me concerned.
I currently can't see it flicker at all, but other times it'll just randomly start doing it. It's really hard to catch unless you're expecting/looking for it.
