There’s something new at NBA All-Star Weekend 2013 — an amateur game featuring some of the best athletes in the world. Kobe Bryant and LeBron James have teamed up with Sprite to lead the search for the best amateur basketball players to compete at All-Star Weekend 2013. LeBron and Kobe will also coach the teams that will face off in Houston.

If you think that you have what it takes to compete the game, you can upload a video featuring your best “Uncontainable move” to www.sprite.com/game. The move can be a dunk, crossover dribble, no look pass, etc.

A winner for each team – LeBron is coaching Team Sudden; Kobe is coaching Team Intense – will be determined at the end of eight submission periods. The winners will receive a $500 NBA gift card and become one of eight finalists (per team). Kobe and LeBron will then review the videos and select the players who will compete on their teams at the five-on-five Uncontainable Game (includes airfare, transportation, accommodations and tickets to the All-Star game). Complete player rules here: http://www.sprite.com/game/pages/player_rules.

Even if you don’t have the skills to compete, you can head to www.sprite.com/game to register as a fan, watch, share and comment on your favorite player videos. Plus, you’ll automatically be entered into a sweepstakes when you log on. Two winners (one for each team) will win a $250 NBA gift card at the end of each round, and then be eligible to win a three-night trip package for two to NBA All-Star 2013. Every day they visit the site gives them another entry into the contest. Complete fan rules here: http://www.sprite.com/game/pages/fan_rules. The final submission period ends in October, but the sooner your upload your videos/log on as a fan, the better of a chance you ill have to make the team or win fan prizes.
