OK my lg tv I bought suppose to be 720p 1080i well this morning I plugged in my brothers ps3 with hdmi cable. well going through the starting options. I chose to let the ps3 detect the best settings for my particular tv. and it said 1080p do I want to accept these settings I said what the heck. I get a clear picture I hit the info button tv says 1080/60p when on the dashboard and 1080/24p when playing a blueray movie.
So I thought maybe its just the ps3 teasing me. so I plug my 360 in with hdmi turn the settings to 1080p and I get the same thing picture works and info states 1080/60p I am confused. but not complaining. is my tv actually a 1080p tv or did I get lucky my tv got boxed wrong.
Am I actually getting 1080p or is it 720p saying it is 1080p I don't know I just got happier with my purchase now
