LG dark chocolate KG800 unlocked?

i saw this lg dark chocolate KG800 it say GSM n its unlocked, can i use even tho my carrier is at&t, last time i purchased a GSM fone i noticed that it was for tmobile, id recieve calls but i wasnt able to recieve pix or send any?? does anyone know about this? pls thank u
 
Yes, as long as the phone is unlocked, you can use with your AT&T service... but wait, there's more... the KG800 is from overseas thus making it have bands 900/1800/1900mhz frequencies. Most of Europe uses either 900 or 1800 depending on service provider. Here in US, it is usually 1900. AT&T on the other hand uses both 850 and 1900 depending on the area of which you live in. Meaning, if you lived in an area or travel to areas that uses the 850 frequency, guess what? Your phone is not going to work because that phone does not have the 850 band.

As for your previous phone that you bought but could not get mms or data service. Which would also be the case with the LG KG800 you intend to buy. It is because the phone's settings are still set to the original provider's settings.
