LG Xenon-Setting custom ringtones for text messages?

My brother got an LG xenon phone around the same time I got mine which was 3 months ago. He likes it a lot. He figured out how to put ringtones on it and set them for when someone calls and he thinks thats great. But he was wondering how do you set your custom ringtones so that when you get a text message you can hear it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
