Well, I lost everything on my computer yesterday, possibly because of a virus so I had to restore my computer to factory condition and my step-dad downloaded Windows 7 (previously I had Windows Vista). I really do not want something to screw up this computer, so I am trying to figure out where I can download music for free that isn't dangerous. Limewire I've used before but I don't really trust it, I have heard alot about Frostwire, both good and bad. Which would be best? Limewire, Frostwire, or something else?

P.S.
Plus, I have to restore all of the songs on my 8g ITouch :-/

your talking p2p networking

there are kids who dedicate there existence to hacking you on these

there is no such thing as safe p2p networking

And you dont suppose using file sharing sites CAUSED your original problem? LOL! You born yesterday? P2P IS the most dangerous method of downloading files there is. You ARE downloading from other members computers! Do you trust total strangers? Do you trust their pcs to be clean? LOL! Furthermore, you ARE stealing if you download copyrighted material without paying. Go download 10 dollars more worth of stolen media. Dont worry, Dad will pay 100 bucks to get the pc cleaned out again. Where are you peoples heads these days?

use these things called torrents. just google it and do a little reading, it's kinda like limewire only much much safer, and you can download whole albums at a time

good luck
