line x entire truck body?

so anyone had their entire truck body sprayed with line x? im thinking about doing it for my 01 sierra just curious to see if anyone has experience in this ie. how much? i do alot of offroading and getting tired of scratches and scuffs
 
Well i have had a few rigs with line x in the tubs (jeeps) and rocker panels. If its all about looks, personally its going to look like crap. and remember if you rub on trees and stuff you'll scrape it off....

I figure if you want to go fourwheeling and are worried about your paint, then get a rig that is just for fourwheeling. Otherwise figure out if you want a pretty truck for the pavement or a truck that is made to take off road.

Plus you are looking at pretty healthy price tag to do it i would assume....probably around 3-4 grand to do the whole truck. Since they will have to carve out where everything meets (door jams, hood, key holes, filler doors, etc...) because it is a lot thicker than paint.
 
Sorry I don't have an answer, but I've thought of this, too. I've never heard of anybody doing it. I've got a 95 S10 pick-up and it cost me $300-$400 (I don't remember exactly) to get the bed. Is it possible to do the whole truck? It'd probably be $1500 or more for a full size truck.
