own a Bayliner 175, Thank U? Would like to gather as much info as I can on the Bayliner 175. The advice are from Bayliner owners themselves.

I have to agree 110% with jim z. Bayliner is one of the poorest built boats of all time. In addtion, if this is an older "package boat" with a US Marine/ Force motor BEWARE!!! Limited parts, no service, and a cobbled-up abortion of a motor to start with. Why not look at something else? With the soft economy, there is a gazillion better deals.

I am not a bayliner owner, but have been boating for decades. Bayliner is generally bottom line of boats. (sorry). They were the first boat maker to ever have a recall for safety. My friend had a 45 foot bayliner, and it sank on its maiden voyage in Lake Ontario. (honest), hull split right up the keel. They skimp on most hardware. If you are looking to buy this boat, there are so many other brands that are so much better. Your choice, your money, I know I am not fullfilling the requests of your question. Good luck.
